Support the Campaign
Amending our Restrictive Covenants takes real resources. Here's what's ahead.
What This Effort Requires
We are committed to full transparency. No costs will be incurred without community awareness, and all funds will be used exclusively for amendment-related expenses.
Attorney Review
To ensure our proposed amendments are legally sound and enforceable, we plan to engage a Michigan real estate attorney to review the final language before filing. Cost estimates are in progress.
Community Mailers
Michigan law requires written notice to every lot owner at least 90 days before any amendment takes effect. With thousands of lots across 19 subdivisions, certified mailings represent a significant but necessary expense. We are working with a local mailing service to obtain accurate estimates.
Organizing Costs
Website hosting, tools, and coordination expenses to keep this effort running through the amendment process.
A Community Fundraiser Is Being Organized
We are organizing a community fundraiser to cover these costs transparently. All funds will be used exclusively for amendment-related expenses, and a full breakdown will be published before the campaign launches.
Our commitment to you
No funds will be solicited until we have clear cost estimates, a transparent accounting plan, and a way for community members to verify how every dollar is used. This is a serious legal organizing effort — not a charity drive.
Registered members will be the first to know.
